Refund and cancellation rules across hosting, project services, and digital product work
Deplocode aims to keep refund handling predictable, but the rules differ between hosting, custom project work, third-party purchases, and product-specific onboarding or implementation.
Where a signed proposal, invoice, activation document, or onboarding agreement includes more specific cancellation terms, that written document may apply in addition to this policy.
Project work depends on progress
Custom web, design, branding, app, or integration work may be partially refundable only before substantial delivery or scope completion.
Third-party items are limited
Domains, SSL, licenses, and similar third-party pass-through costs are typically non-refundable once purchased or activated.
Hosting cancellations
- Hosting cancellation requests should be submitted within 5 days of purchase or activation for refund review.
- Approved cancellation requests may result in the service being deactivated as part of the refund process.
Hosting refunds
- Eligible hosting refunds are reviewed within the 5-day policy window.
- Refund processing time may vary depending on payment method, gateway timelines, and internal review.
- Subdomains, SSL certificates, domains, and comparable third-party items are generally non-refundable once provisioned.
- Refunds will not be granted where a service has been used for malicious, abusive, or policy-violating activity.
Web, design, branding, app, and API services
- Project cancellation requests should be raised as early as possible, ideally before substantial execution begins.
- If work has already started, any refund decision may depend on completed effort, delivered work, planning time, and third-party costs already incurred.
- Completed custom design, branding, UI, development, integration, or similar delivered work is generally non-refundable.
Digital product onboarding and implementation
- For digital product onboarding, custom setup, implementation, or white-label work, refundability depends on the agreed commercial scope and activation status.
- Where a separate proposal or onboarding agreement exists for a digital product, that document may specify the refund treatment for the engagement.
Non-refundable or restricted cases
- Third-party service charges, activated licenses, completed deliverables, and already consumed custom work are generally non-refundable.
- Delays caused by missing client content, lack of approvals, or communication gaps do not automatically create refund eligibility.
- Policy violations or unlawful use may lead to cancellation without refund.
How to request a review
- Send the request from the same email address used for the order or project discussion whenever possible.
- Include the service name, order details, and reason for cancellation or refund review so the case can be assessed faster.
